The Austin Film Festival showed my short film "Po Mo Knock Knock" a few years back. It's a strong regional festival with a reputation for emphasizing the contributions of screenwriters. Deadline's coming up:

Don’t forget! Austin Film Festival award-winning short and student short films are eligible to be nominated for an Academy Award.

Early Deadline: June 15th ($40 submission)
Late Deadline: July 15th ($50 submission)
