Interesting exploration of the Hercules/Howlett relationship in "X-Treme X-Men"
02.23.13 - Comics > X-Treme X-Men > This entry's link
A Tumblr user named saintnoname has written about the stereotype-breaking relationship between Hercules and Howlett in my "X-Treme X-Men" book. The kicker: I love this relationship to bits and pieces, and the way it subverts so many different tropes. It really is something beautiful. Read the whole thing!

Greg Pak talks "X-Treme X-Men" in CBR's first "X-Position" of 2013
01.02.13 - Comics > X-Treme X-Men > This entry's link

X-Man fans interviewed me about "X-Treme X-Men" at Comic Book Resources. Here's an excerpt: Which is your favorite character to write in X-Treme and what sets this book apart from other X-Titles?
I love all my babies equally. But Howlett and Dazzler are probably my faves. I'm pretty much in love with Howlett's tough guy exterior, great good heart, and propensity for blushing. He's a tough guy sweetheart, which is a ton of fun to write. And my girl Dazzler just makes me smile. She's got very little filter -- if she's thinking it, she's probably saying it, which is an endearing quality and a ton of fun to write. And she also strikes me as a fundamentally decent person who's always been an underdog and maybe doesn't even realize how huge a hero she really is. Again, endearing and a ton of fun to write. Marvel announces "X-Termination" event, which includes Greg Pak's "X-Treme X-Men"
12.05.12 - Comics > X-Treme X-Men > This entry's link

Greg Pak's reality hopping comic book "X-Treme X-Men" joins Marjorie Liu's "Astonishing X-Men" and David Lapham's "Age of Apocalypse" for a 2013 crossover story called "X-Termination." Check out an excerpt of the Marvel.com interview: Marvel.com: Greg, picking up things in X-TREME X-MEN #12, how do alternative Charles Xaviers figure into this story?
Greg Pak: Dazzler and her X-Treme team have been on an insane mission to kill 10 evil alterna-Xaviers before they bring ruin upon the multiverse. In this storyline, we'll finally find out exactly what threat the Xaviers represent and whether the Xavier Head in a Bottle who's been guiding the team is a villain or a hero. Most importantly, we're going to find out whether Dazzler's finally going to cross that line and risk her own soul in order to fulfill her responsibilities as a leader. Read the whole thing at Marvel.com.

Bleeding Cool says nice things about "X-Treme X-Men"
11.25.12 - Comics > X-Treme X-Men > This entry's link
An excerpt from Louis Falcetti's "A Crisis in Multiple Books": Greg Pak has been quietly writing the most fun and most readable X-book for six issues now with X-Treme X-men where a band of reality displaced X-men travel the multiverse with an Xavier head in a jar, killing evil Xaviers. More like “They Keep Killing Xavier!” amirite? Read the whole thing here!
